Official selection for the NFF Debut Competition 2026.

Coming soon.

A young Latin American migrant works in a fast fashion shop in Amsterdam. It’s a demanding job, and although her body is increasingly telling her it can’t cope, she can’t afford to lose it.

When her manager mentions a sale during the daily briefing, Ana knows this is going to be a difficult day. She’s already struggling as it is. Ana is a Latin American migrant who works in a fast fashion shop in Amsterdam. Every day is hectic because she doesn’t speak the language well. In this short debut film, we see how the language barrier takes its toll. No matter how neatly and efficiently Ana does her job, customers remain blunt and rude. Until Ana’s body literally can’t cope any longer.
